Patrick Beverley joins SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt to talk about the LA Clippers’ season compared to that of the Los Angeles Lakers. Beverley credits coach Doc Rivers for the team’s ability to be playing at a high level and his basketball IQ. He then talks about his game against Paul George and the Oklahoma City Thunder, when he didn’t score a point but he enjoys the battle on the court. (6:12) Beverley doesn’t want the interview to end so Scott Van Pelt opens up the floor for Beverley to talk about his relationship with Russell Westbrook after all of their on-court drama in which Beverley replies “you have to ask him.” The Clippers guard then quickly admits that “I really don’t even like” anyone in the NBA that isn’t one of his teammates and is ready to “run through walls” for his team. Lastly, Beverley talks about Duke’s Zion Williamson entering the NBA and if there’s going to be a target on his back because of the media attention that follows him.
