U18 Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv survived a thriller against U18 Zalgiris Kaunas on Friday as a free throw by young sensation Deni Avdija gave the Israeli team a 70-71 win in the second round of Group A. However, this Maccabi win means that U18 Mega Bemax Belgrade is the first finalist of the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals as its next opponent, Zalgiris, is 0-2 and the Serbian team has already defeated Maccabi and U18 FC Bayern Munich in the group.
