In the final game before the All-Star break, Russell Westbrook posts another ridiculous triple-double and passes Gary Payton for the most points in Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder history with over 18,000, but the Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans saga overshadows Russ' big game and continues with yet another dramatic chapter. Davis appeared to re-injure his left shoulder before halftime, and reportedly left the arena mid-game. Davis scored 14 points in just 16 minutes before his departure, while Westbrook tallied a ridiculous 44 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in the Thunder's 131-122 loss at the Smoothie King Center. Jrue Holiday and Julius Randle answered the bell for New Orleans, combining for 65 points on an efficient 23-of-48 shooting. Paul George also finished with 28 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a losing effort.
