April 12, 1995 - Welcoming him back to the league after a one-and-a-half year layoff, Allan Houston made quick work of the No. 45 version of Michael Jordan in the backcourt and capped things off with a tasty oop to teammate Grant Hill. Jordan responded by dropping 29, 9, and 9 in a 124-113 win.
Houston began the 1994-95 season in a limited role, averaging just 5.0 points per game over the first 20 games of the season. However, by the time April rolled around, Houston was in the midst of an 18-game spurt that saw him drop 25.6 points a night while shooting 45.9 percent from deep. Houston parlayed this run into a breakout season in 1996 and a big-time contract with the New York Knicks.
